This is a story for young adults whatever their age, probably from 10 to 80+... WADDUDA OF THE DESERT is presented as a child's tale, and children will no doubt enjoy it, but it is not a childish book. Adults will find themselves enjoying it as well. It has a most attractive air of romance, adventure, and realism... We can accept and enjoy Walter Farley's BLACK STALION series as good fun. We ought to take WADDUDA OF THE DESERT in the same way, and maybe some day we will be fortunate enough to see it as a movie, too.

At this time the breed needs more dreams to build on, as well as romantic and historical tales that are inspiring and believable, and there is definitely a touch of THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS magic in this story.
